A Covered Bridge!

We went over this covered bridge (click on title) when we were heading to a resale shop (wifes idea) from the Hanks Place Resturant.

The view was gorgeous and the weather was about 80 with a little breeze. The bridge had recently been completely restored. The craftsmanship was superb!

We had a very relaxing day. My wife would also say a profitable day since she was able to pick up a cute little out fit for less that $20. LOL!!

You would have thought she bought it at Saks with all the comments she got on it at church on Sunday! HA!

Love covered bridges. This one reminds me of the Knights Ferry CA Bridge of long ago. We used to cross it on our way to my dad's relatives houses. There is something exciting about such bridges. PS: Glad to hear that Judi still knows how to work those resale stores.

In my short life and a few trips east, I have had the opportunity to cross two covered bridges. Then to stand and look at them, take a few pictures and wonder what stories these bridges might tell of history.

What blessing, the wife gets both new clothes and great comments and she saved a few bucks.

Aunt Karen, Judi still knows how to work the resale stores and she is planning on taking a newcomer to church up there to shop and spend the day.

Mervi, Besides the great scenery, the time was invested in the family instead of spent getting "things" done!

What a wonderful way to spend the day. "With each other"! I love the bridges, also!

Ok, I'm thinking of "The Outfit!" Judi would look great in a rag, she just puts it all together and carrie it off, the rest of us spend way more and it just doesn't always work!! LOL Way to go Judi! Oh, and the 80 degrees sounds great, too! We were 106!
