Another "Order My Steps"

Last Sunday we had a "Power Hour" service for our Sunday School children. One of the teachers told me that Susie (Sis Rachel the Amish lady's daughter) had prayed Saturday for her dad to call her. Rachel's husband had left them several years ago because of the Amish ways.

Sunday night after church I stopped by a store to pick up a few things and I met Sis. Rachel and her family going into the store. Her husband not only called but he came home and I got to meet him! They were so excited to see me and introduce me to "Frank". We chatted and I thought, God still hears and answers prayer even from a little 7 year old girl! Then I thought , God you have ordered my steps again!

Then on Thursday of this week I went to a Memorial Service at the hospital where I volunteer. It is a service to remember the staff and patients that have passed away in the past year. There were quite a few there and it was a moving experience.

When the service was over I went through some of the various areas of the hospitals to check and see if the staff need me to visit some one. I went into some of the rooms and chatted and prayed with the patients.

Then I went down to the Emergency Room to see if they needed me to visit there as well and they told me everyone seemed to be doing OK. As I was turning to walk out someone said "Hey Preacher, What are you doing here? I looked and it was one of the main men at work.

He had not even been home and he was surprised to see me already dressed in a suit. I told him that when I got home I had thirty minutes to clean up and get to the hospital for the service. His daughter had just been taken out of the Emergency Room to run some tests. This is the second time in a month that I have met him by "accident" at the hospital. Or was is the Lord ordering my steps?
